Sarah Cannon
July 13, 1932 — May 7, 2017
Sarah Lee Chisenhall Cannon, age 84, was welcomed into the arms of our Lord on May 7, 2017. She was born on July 13, 1932 and the oldest of 12 children born of Lee and Gladys Chisenhall. After 65 years of marriage she is survived by her husband Clyde Richard Cannon. Their marriage was the joining of two families, each bringing two children with them being, Brenda Hy, Rick (Gail) Morrow, Betty Monroe, and Cathy (Johnny) Corlew. Their union later brought two more children, Ron (Connie) Cannon and Lisa (Jeff) Treat. From their six children there was a total of 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents Sarah was preceded in death by 7 siblings, 1 child, and 2 grandchildren.
In her younger days Sarah was a cub scout den mother and a girl scout leader. She was a homemaker whom at the age of 40 returned to school and after just 3 years received her Austin Peay BSN Degree and became a registered nurse.
She was a member of McAdoo Cumberland Presbyterian Church which will hold her memorial service on June 3 at 11:00.
