Graveside funeral services for Sara Nicholson-Bennett, age 83 of Clarksville, will be Thursday, Feb 04, 2016 at 2:30 pm at the Mallory Chapel Cemetery. Tom Payne will officiate. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb 03, 2016 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home.
Sara passed away on Saturday, Jan 30, 2016 at Gateway Medical Center. She was born on Aug 19, 1932 in Cheatham County TN to Charlie and Rowena Fox Shearon.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husband, John Nicholson, Brothers, Frank (Dorothy)Shearon, James (Lou Ester)Shearon & Ray Shearon; sisters, Willie Mae (Troy) Jarrell, Elizabeth Ann (Doug) Steele; daughters-in-law, Twila and Kathy Nicholson.
She is survived by her husband Dean Bennett, sons, Danny and Victor Nicholson; Daughter, Carol Ann (Danny )Morris; Grandchildren, Shane (Rachel) Nicholson, Shannon Harris, Blake (Megan) Morris, Whitney (Brandon) Kogut, Brooklyn (Logan) Milliken; Great Grandchildren, Mackenzie Nicholson, Evan Harris, Gavin Harris, Cason Kogut, Hudson Milliken, Baby Morris; step children, Connie (Gary) Hunter, Kevin (Denise) Bennett, Kristi (Don) Webb,; step grandchildren, Amy (Craig) Hannahrahan, Ashley (Robert) Harvey, Rachel, Rebecca, & Justin Webb; step great grandchildren, Noah & Emerson Hannahrahan, Hunter & Hadley Harvey.
