Ruthie Belle Copeland Lyle - 1925 Ruthie Belle Copeland Lyle, 85, Clarksville, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at her home. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m.. Friday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.Timothy W. Ferrell and Rev. Richard Wesley officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. An Eastern Star Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lyle was born September 2, 1925 in Cedar Hill, TN. daughter of the late Bertie and Dovie Frazier Copeland. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell Lyle, and two daughters Barbara Tuberville and Brenda Velez. Also preceding her in death were four brothers, John, Allen, Jessie and Bertie Copeland. Jr. and sisters Lucile Waters, Queenie Roberts and Dorothy Copeland. She retired from Civil Service at Fort Campbell, and was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons Jimmy (Kathleen) Lyle, Joe (Belinda) Lyle, and her daughter Jean (Jimmy) Walker. She has nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. www.sykesfuneralhome.com
