Rosella Ann Franklin

Funeral service for Rosella Ann Franklin, age 76 of Carmi, IL, will be on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at Sykes Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

Rosella was born December 4, 1941 in Covington, KY to Clyde and Martha (Jones) Hubbard. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Brandenburg in 1972,and then second husband Billie Franklin in 2014; sister, Carol Leykamm and daughter, Rachel Lynn Batson. She spent the last days of her life surrounded by her family and beloved friends. She was a member of Trinity Assembly of God in Carmi, IL and active in church ministry to girls and service to Montgomery Christian Academy and Unity Christian Academy- both in Clarksville, TN for several years.

She is survived by children: Rebecca (Mike) Shippey of Burbank, CA; Robin (Lee) Hicks of Carmi, IL; Billy (Jessica) Franklin of Peoria, IL; Roseann Franklin of Clarksville, TN; son-in-law William T Batson of Clarksville, TN; step-daughter Susie (Franklin) Bean of Norris City, IL, grandchildren: Nate (Sarah) Hicks, Drew (Kassi) Hicks, Victoria Ballard, Trevor Batson, Craig Shippey, Reagan Shippey, Cody Underwood and Bella Franklin.
