Ronald Edward McClain, 62, of Clarksville, TN, passed away Tuesday night at his residence on January 3, 2017. Ronny is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lenda McClain; daughters, Denise (Shane) Heavener and Rhonda (Mike) Robinson; mother, Evelyn McClain; sister, Kay (Gary) Black ; brothers, Roger (Brenda) McClain , Johnny (Brenda) McClain , and Andy(LaDonna) McClain; and loving grandchildren Taylor Lieberstein, Lauren (Dustin) Wells, Jacob Lieberstein, Bryce Robinson, Bayleigh Robinson, Carly Robinson, Jayden Heavener, along with nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, James E. McClain. Ronny was a loving father, husband, papa and friend to all.
Ronny loved carpentry and worked as a general contractor for many years alongside his father James McClain, until he was forced to retire due to illness. He loved studying his Bible and fishing. He spent much of his time watching his children and grandchildren play sports. Ronny was always there to help friends and family with anything they needed.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home on Thursday, January 5. Visitation on Friday, January 6, will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm, with funeral services immediately following. Ronny will be laid to rest at the Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Cunningham, TN.
