Funeral service for Rodney G. Swann age 68 of Whites Creek, will be Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM at McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church in Madison. Brother Johnny Carver will officiate. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Goodletsville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 pm at the church, and again on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 9:30 AM until the hour of service.
Rodney passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 in Madison. He was born in Nashville on Feb 14, 1949.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rodney and Thelma Lee Swann, a brother, Larry Wayne Swann, and survived by his wife of 49 years, Dianne Swann, daughters, Debbie (Tim) Butler and Sandy Swann, granddaughter, Whitney Butler (Joe Nutter), and great-granddaughter, Reagan Nutter.
Pallbearers will be Tim Buler, Joe Nutter, Wayne Magaha, Scott Russell, Dennis Parker, Glen Doss, Ryan Suggs, and Thomas Butler.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Eddie Swann, Dr. Robert Pilkinton, Leo Smiley, James Benson, Ralph Perrin, Joe Whitley, David Valdez, and Bill Fry.
