Robert John Sifinski, 72, Clarksville, died Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sifinski was born January 17, 1937 in Canonsburg, PA, son of the late Raymond and Sophie Kebart Sifinski. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Bedison Sifinski, a sister Mary Ellen Bruno; and brother Raymond Sifinski.
Mr. Sifiniski retired from the US Army, and the Zinc Plant. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled Veterans Association, and a graduate of the Clarksville Citizens Police Academy. He was of the catholic faith.
He is survived by a son Robert J. Sifinski, Jr. and wife Cheri of Raleigh, NC; daughters Kim Chatman, Fairbanks, AK; Kathy Imbush, TN Ridge; and Jill Gibson and husband Chris of Hopkinsville, KY; fourteen grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Military will serve as pallbearers.
