Robert Schroll

Robert A. Schroll, 70 of Clarksville, Owner/Operator of The Kennel Shop died suddenly on December 6, 2021.  Born in 1951 in Hartford, Connecticut Robert was the son of Late Frank and Celia (Domian) Schroll.  He graduated Xavier High School in Middletown, CT and went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree from New Hampshire College.  Robert worked many years in the horse and dog industries before moving to Tennessee.

Robert leaves behind his beloved husband John Gammon who has been at his side for over 45 years.  Together Robert and John have been long standing residents of Clarksville and leaders in the American Kennel Association.  Robert was significantly younger than his late siblings Frank, Barbara, & Deloris and is survived by his nieces and nephews (Schroll, Rumley, and Hayes) who he bonded with like siblings.  At family gatherings Robert took great pride in teaching his adult great nieces and nephews how to celebrate with style.
