Robert Lee Proctor, 73, Clarksville, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at his home.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Lee's Chapel with Brother James Mackens officiating.
Burial will be in Ryes Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service Friday at the church.
Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Proctor was born January 16, 1937 in Montgomery County, to the late Roy Lee and Martha Herrell Proctor. He was preceded in death by his brothers Burley and Bailey Proctor.
He was a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife Frances Swaw Proctor; sons Bobby (Margie) Proctor, Billy (Beverly) Proctor, his daughters Debra Sykes, Sherinia Proctor, Cynthia Blankenship, and sister Ann Bishop. He has six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. www.sykesfuneralhome.com
