Ret. CW04 Robert Donald "Duck" Davidson, age 73 of Palmyra, passed away on Sunday, Dec 20, 2015 at his residence. He was born on Oct 11, 1942 in Palmyra, TN to the late Lonnie H. and Carrie Davidson. He served in the US Marines and was retired from the US Coast Guard with nearly forty years of dedicated service to our country. He was instrumental in forming the Palmyra Volunteer Fire Service and was the former chairman of the board.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia (Baker) Davidson; sons, Rob (Christy) Davidson, Jeff Davidson, Jason (Rhonda) Davidson, Mike (Heather) Davidson, Scott Davidson; Brothers, Jimmy & John Davidson; he is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.
