Robert Burger

Robert Nevin Burger, 94, formally of Maryland passed away on January 22, 2025. Robert was born on October 23, 1930 in Davis, West Virginia to Guy and Nina Burger. He served in the United States Navy and served in the Korean War. Robert enjoyed playing sports as much as he did coaching them leaving a lasting impact on his players. He also enjoyed traveling, bowling with the American Legion, and spending time with family. He was an officer with the American Legion Post 40 in Maryland. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Anne Burger, and 8 siblings. He is survived by his children, Denise (John) Gettier, Terri Hill, and Guy (Diane) Burger, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great- grandchildren. 

A service will take place at a later date in Maryland.
