Ricky Lynn Clements, age 50, of Cleveland, TN (formerly of Clarksville) received his Home Going Call to Heaven on Wednesday afternoon, June 30, 2010, while resting peacefully in his home and after a brief hospital stay a week ago. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday at 2:30 in the Chapel of Sykes Funeral Home with Reverend David Taylor and Reverend Sam Clements officiating. Burial will be in Coleman-Tatum Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 until the hour of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Ricky was born on October 24, 1959, in Dickson, Tennessee, to his beloved parents, William and Mildred Clements, who preceded him in death. Survivors include his three brothers, Billy of Scurry, TX; Donald, and his wife, Donna, of Pottsboro, TX; Darrell of Clarksville, TN; one sister, Annette, and her husband, David Taylor, of Cleveland, TN; nephews - Robert, Lee, Michael, Alan, and Bud; nieces - Lisa, Tracey, Sloane, and Blair; several great nephews and nieces; loving aunts, uncles, and cousins; very special friends - Theresa, Becky, Ali, Courtney, Lori, and Shaun; along with many other wonderful people associated with Bradley-Cleveland Services and Continue Care of Chattagooga; as well as his many friends at Peerless Road Church.
Ricky was dearly loved by all who knew him. We will surely miss his infectious laughter, his contagious hugs, his special songs of rejoicing about his Lord, his magnetic ability to instantly win hearts, and his gentle, loving spirit that we all enjoyed so much. He brought so much joy, love, and laughter to his family and friends and he will be dearly missed.
