Funeral service for Richard Eugene Spencer, age 62 of Palmyra, will be Saturday, Nov 03, 2012 at 11:00 am at Sykes Funeral Home. Bishop William Moss will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, Nov 02, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home and again on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
Mr. Spencer passed away on Sunday, Oct 28, 2012 at his residence. He was born on May 18, 1950 in Bangor, Maine to Robert Spencer and Grace Oakes. He was a member of Chestnut Grove Free Will Baptist Church and was a retired logger. He was a mason, and an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife & best friend, Lottye Frances Spencer; Daughter, Denise Spencer Pond; Sons, Alphonse (Audrey) Spencer, Randy (Julia) Neblett, Michael(Mandy) Neblett; Brothers, Michael Spencer, Randy Spencer and Keith Davis; Sisters, Mary White, Ruth Davis and Lisa Spencer; and 8 grandchildren.
