Richard passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Richard was born on June 15, 1942 in Detroit, MI to Carl A. Cooper and Sadie Suci Cooper. He is survived by sons, Richard Carl Cooper, Jr. (Michael), Kenneth Douglas Cooper (Lori),Timothy Michael Cooper (Sheila), Jonathan Edsel Cagumoc Cabusao, Jericho Eimer Cabusao Cooper, daughter, Angela Michelle Cooper, sister, Ellen Worley (Bill) and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Richard served his country honorably in the United States Air Force, retiring after more than 20 years. Following his military retirement, he then retired from the Civil Service as a Flight Simulator Manager.
