Funeral service for (Ret.) SSG David Albert Smith, age 58 of Clarksville, will be Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11:00AM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 17 from 9:30AM to 11:00AM at Sykes Funeral Home.
David passed away on Friday, Feb 10, 2017 at his residence. He was born on July 12, 1958 in Boston, MA to Elmore and Flora Smith. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Briahn Fend. He was retired from the U S Army and served during Desert Storm, he is also retired from Opryland Hotel.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sharon Smith; sons, Antwan Smith and David Smith; daughter, Cynthia Smith; brothers, John, Bruce, and Timothy Smith; sisters, Flora Ann Johnson and Janet Bodden, grandchildren; Jaylen Smith and Kalyssa Smith.
