Renate Manzo

A Funeral Service for Renate I. Manzo, 83, Palmyra, will be Saturday, January 12 at 2:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church. There will be a public viewing at Sykes Funeral Home Friday evening from 4-7 pm. Renate died peacefully in her home January 9, 2019. She was surrounded by family at the time of her death. Renate was born in Stettin, Germany June 8, 1935. Her parents were Herman Bank and Dora Schmidt Bank. She was preceded in death by husband William A. (Tony) Manzo, who died January 9, 1998. They were married for 35 years. She is also preceded in death by her brother Kurt Bank. Renate is survived by her sister Brigitte Wieland, three daughters, Andrea, Claudia (Todd) and Christine Manzo (Dale). She has 4 grandchildren, Thea Kahle (John), Allison Karwoski, Ian Marshall, and Melissa Karwoski. She has 2 great grandchildren, Jak and Violet Kahle. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Renate was a devout Christian and member of Grace Lutheran Church for over 40 years.
