Funeral service for RC Paslay age 77, of Clarksville, will be Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Brother Jerry Harwell, Steve Ferren, and Rob Paslay will officiate. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends on February 22, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church.
RC passed away on Tuesday, Feb 16, 2016 at Gateway Medical Center. He was born on Jan 15, 1939 in Kirby, Arkansas to Robert Paslay and Era Johnson. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. RC retired from the United States Navy, after 30 years of service.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by daughter, Marjorie Smith, a son, Wayne Murphy, and brother, Raymond Paslay.
He is survived by his wife Jean Paslay; son, Rob and wife Robin Paslay; daughter, Carol Jean Murphy, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
