Ramona James

Funeral service for Ramona James, age 85 of Ashland City, will be Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 1:00PM. Bro. Terry Forrest will officiate. Burial will follow in the Nanney Hollis Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM and again Saturday from 11:00AM until the time of service.

Ramona passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at her residence. She was born on May 16, 1933 in Montgomery County, TN to Vernon and Louise Brake. Ramona was a loving mother, grandmother, and loved her dog, Misty. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, John James, and brothers; James Brake and Chester Brake.

Ramona is survived by her sons; Buford James, Cecil (Kay) James, and Ricky (Janet) James, daughter Tammy James, brothers; Sam and Billy Brake, sisters; Francis Haley, Virginia Harrison, and Devona Nanney, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
