Penny Kaye Scroggins

A Celebration of Life service for Penny Kaye Scroggins, age 78, of Clarksville, TN will be Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Sykes Funeral Home at 12:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service. 

Penny was born on August 25, 1945 in Muncie, IN to Elzie Carroll Conley and Thelma Grace Bolin Haun. She passed away on December 16, 2023 due to complications from her injuries she sustained from the tornado on December 9, 2023. Penny, a wonderful mother and grandmother; was kind hearted and never met a stranger. She loved watching sports, working, and spending time with her family. Penny was loved by so many and her family will miss the way she lit up a room with her smile.  

In addition to her parents, Penny is preceded in death by her brothers, Jack Conley and Jim Conley and granddaughter, Megan Peterson. She is survived by her children, Denise (Steven) Batten, John Scroggins, Billy Scroggins, and Michelle (Jimmy Keatts) Scroggins, grandchildren, Chaley, Isaac, Jessica, Jonathan, Tiffany, Brandon, Ryan, and Samuel, and many great grandchildren, sister, Betty Hardy, and many other loving friends and family members.
