Peggy Roberts

A Celebration of Life service for Peggy Marie Roberts, age 80, of Clarksville, will be Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on  Friday, February 4, 2022 from to 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Saturday  from 1:00 PM until the time of service. A private burial will take place at Sango Cemetery.

Peggy was born on March 9, 1941 in Clarksville to Chester Lauren and Mary Elizabeth Alley. She passed away on February 2, 2022. Peggy was a member of Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church where she played the piano for 71 years. She was a 1959 Clarksville High School graduate and a former singer and pianist for The Chapel Heirs Quartet. Peggy was a talented pianist and seamstress, and enjoyed spending time with her family, babysitting her grand fur babies, teaching piano lessons, flowers and gardening, and playing UNO.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Thomas Alley. She is survived by her children: Lynette (Roy) Harris, Karen (Scott) Stanfield, and Mark (Kandice) Roberts, and grandson, John (Kaitlyn) Harris.
