Peggy Jean Greene, age 78 of Clarksville, passed away on Friday June. 28, 2013 at her residence . Funeral services will be held Monday July 1 ,2013 2:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Monday July 1, 2013 from 12:00pm until the hour of service. Burial will follow in Greene Cemetery, Cunningham, TN.
Peggy was born January 5, 1935 in Davidson county to the late Lillian Jewell Lewis Corlew. She was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother.
In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Kay Greene and a step-sister Bonnie Maroney.
She is survived by her children, Elsie Greene, Connie (Marshall) Durr, and William (Deadra) Greene Jr.; grandchildren, Christy Colby, Brian Mixon, Jason Mixon, Logan Greene, and Sarah Durr; and 9 Great-Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brian Mixon, Jason Mixon, Logan Greene, Jeremy Colby, Michael Colby, and Ray Miller.
