Peggy Austin

A Celebration of Life service for Peggy Jo Austin, age 80, of Clarksville, TN, will be Friday, January 13, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Kelly Austin. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until the time of service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Peggy was born on February 3, 1942, in Vanleer, TN to Howard and Lilly Jones. She passed away on January 9, 2023. Peggy was a member of Bible Baptist Church, loved listening music, and dancing. She would do anything for her children, enjoyed spending time with her family, and liked to decorate.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings: Jewel Weems, Billy Jones, and Herbert Jones; and grandson, Chace Austin. Peggy is survived by her children: Gary (Amy) Austin, Pamela Austin, Kelli Austin, and Marty (Roselle) Austin; siblings: Ann Nelson, Ruby Williams, Wanda Jones, and Bobby Jones; 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
