Patricia Bedwell

A Celebration of Life service for Patricia Dean Bedwell, age 77 of Clarksville, will be Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Stan Wilson will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. The soul of Patricia Dean McLevain Bedwell went to be with our Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 11, 2021. She was born on May 14, 1943 in Clarksville, TN to W.J. and Mavoureen Morton McLevain. Mrs. Bedwell was a career teacher and administrator at Montgomery Central High, Clarksville High, and New Providence Middle School and was an adjunct professor at Austin Peay State University.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Bernard McLevain, and a stillborn daughter. Mrs. Bedwell is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bobby Doyle Bedwell; daughter, Beth (Troy) Jackson; son, Barry (Kelly) Bedwell; grandchildren: Trevor (Bethany) Jackson, Tiffany Jackson, Bobby Bedwell, Benjamin Bedwell, and Joanna Bedwell; brother, Jesse (JoAnne) McLevain; sisters-in-law, Leona McLevain and Kimberly (Tom) Sawyers; and several nieces and extended family.

Mrs. Bedwell was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed her family, camping, and traveling the world of nature. She loved her pets, Booger and Honey.
