Orena Carden Reeves, age 87, passed away quietly Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Signature Healthcare of Clarksville.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 24, at 11 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home, Macon Ga. Burial will follow at the Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, April 24 at 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her son, Larry Reeves and his wife, LaVonne; her three sisters, Margaret Swafford, Louise Caldwell and Emma Martin; two brothers, Tom Carden and Eddie Carden; daughter-in-law Sharon Reeves, grandson, Scott Reeves and his wife, Michelle with two great grandchildren Charlie Anne Reeves and Harry J. Reeves IV. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Reeves, Jr and son, Harry J. Reeves, III.
Until recent years, Orena was an avid golfer. She filled her active life with love and laughter and requested to be buried in a bright red dress with "a skirt that sways when dancing".
