Funeral service for Willie O'Neill Walker, age 88 of Clarksville, will be Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home.
O'Neill passed away on Saturday, October 08, 2016 at Centennial Medical Center. He was born on May 13, 1928 in Stewart County, TN; son of Ray and Sadie Walker.
O'Neill was a long time member of Jesus Name Full Gospel Church, loved his family and was a life-long farmer, while owning his own carpet business.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Walker, son, Carlos Walker, brother, Desmond Walker and great-granddaughter Raigon Boots.
He is survived by his sons; Phillip (Debbie) Walker, Keith Walker, daughters, Francie Pepper, Delilah (Kenny) Holland, Tammy (Scott) Johnson, Terry (Jerry) Swift, sisters; Brooksie Buchanan, Eva Jean Chester, Ann (George) Coble, and Loretta (Charles) Smith, sister-in-law, Eleanor Walker, his cousin whom he thought of as a brother, Dotson Guinn, ten grandchildren, Jessica Cornelius, Christy Shelpman, Brandon Harvey, Tiffany Johnson, Amber Johnson, Bessie Johnson, Jeremiah Holland, Michelle Harrison, Nicole Cormier, Chad Walker, and Jessica Hicks, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Brandon Harvey, Chad Walker, Jeremiah Holland, great-grandchild Justin Boots and friends, John Roberts and Mike Gaines.
