Olean Ruth Claxton Suiter, 80, Clarksville, died Thursday, August 27, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Williard Stint officiating.
Burial will be in Keesee Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday and from 2:00 p.m. til 6:00 p.m. Sunday and 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.

Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Suiter was born June 9, 1929 in Houston County, Tennessee daughter of the late Willie Wesley Claxton and Della Frances Reynolds Claxton.
Mrs. Suiter was a housewife and a member of East DeWitt Baptist Church, DeWitt Michigan.
Mrs. Suiter is survived by her husband Robert W. Suiter, daughters; Norma Jene Reed and Shirley Ann Gordon; brothers; Doffie Claxton and Ewing Claxton and sisters; Dorothy Hutchinson, and Colean Robinson; 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 15 great-grandchildren all of Clarksville.
Pallbearers will be Lt. Col. Robert Reed, Anthony Reed, Ronald Gordon, Steven Claxton, John Claxton, and Jerry Bumpus.
