Norma Purviance

A Celebration of Life service for Norma Lynn Purviance, 48, of Southside, TN, will be Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Bro. Stephen Ramsey will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Norma passed away on April 27, 2021. She was born on May 31, 1972 in Atlanta, GA to Jerry and Helen Powell who precede her in death.

Norma enjoyed shooting sporting clay, fishing, hunting, beekeeping, and gardening.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Steve Purviance; children: Scott (Sarah) Purviance, Daniel (Cayce) Purviance, Heather (Mike) Sergerson, Steven (Michelle)Sheaves, and Hunter Purviance; siblings, Tony and Marshall Powell; and grandchildren: Bruce, James, Elijah, and Brenna Sergerson, Dakota Sheaves, Kayden, Cyrus, and Ella Purviance, and Emily Purviance.
