Noi Margaret Rhodes Shreckengost 95 of Clarksville died Wednesday November 30, 2011 at the residence of her daughter Martha Brockman. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at West Clarksville Baptist Church, Obi, NY. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Odessa, NY. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM till funeral hour Saturday at the church. Guenther Funeral Home, Olean, NY is in charge of arrangements. Sykes Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Shreckengost was born May 25, 1916 in Magnolia, Il, daughter of the late Edward and Mary Sprague Rhodes. She was preceded in death by her husband Milford Shreckengost in 2001, and son-in-law Steve Mooradian in 2011, and four sisters and one brother.
Mrs. Shreckengost was a homemaker. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Oak Grove, and Missionary for 19 years with the Source of Light Ministry.
She is survived by two sons Phillip (Donna) Shreckengost of PA, and David Shreckenost of GA. Six daughters Noi Elkins DeVal, VA, Eunice Mooradian, NY, Martha (Ernie) Brockman, TN, Lois (Ron) Spiller, NY, Priscilla (Rusty) Haynes, TX, and Sarah (C.J.) Madurski of GA. Other survivors included a brother Rusell Rhodes, FL, and sister Mildred Blumenstock, FL., twenty six grandchildren , thirty seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild,
