Nana Blackwell

Nana Beatrice Blackwell, age 93, of Clarksville passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Spring Meadows. Sykes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, February 22 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dean Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with family serving as pallbearers. The Family will receive friends on Sunday beginning at 11:00 am until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Beatrice was born May 5, 1921 in Marion, TN to the late Hayden and Lillian Hamilton Green. She was a retiree of the Acme Boot Company.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Blackwell; brothers, Vernon Green, Wendell Green; sisters, Mildred Coleman, Laverda McCreary.
She is survived by her son Buford (Rebecca) Blackwell of Joelton; brother Ervin "Pete" Green of Marion, TN; sisters, Evelyn Davis and Grace Britt, both of Clarksville; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
