Myrle Bryant Harrison, age 85, of Woodlawn, Tennessee died Monday night, October 8th at her daughters home in Dotsonville.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2013 at Sykes Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, October 10th and from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of services on Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Myrle was born on July 4, 1928 in Stewart County to the late Walter and Pearl Darnell Bryant. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Graham Harrison.
Myrle's life was centered around her family which included a daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Rocky Cobb of Clarksville; grandchildren, Sharrock and Melanie Cobb of Clarksville, Amanda Swan of Woodlawn and great grandchildren, Lilli, Zoe and Whit Cobb.
Myrle worked at the Acme Boot Company for many years. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family and friends. She was a member of Cross Creek Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Darnell, Donnie Edwards, Tim Groude, Ronnie Harrison, Steve Minor and Allen Sucharski.
