Murray Wayne Hollis, 76, Clarksville, died Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at VA Medical Center.
The funeral will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Madewell and Rev.Clay King officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hollis was born October 7, 1931 in Montgomery County, son of the late C.J. Hollis and E. R. Denney Hollis. He is preceded in death by his son Ralph A. Hollis and daughter Jennifer D. Hollis. Also, preceded in death by his brothers Staton D. and Roger C. Hollis.
He retired from Service America, was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War in Okinawa.
He is survived by his wife Janice Stewart Hollis; his daughter Alisa H. Morrison, Columbia; brother Larry G. Hollis, Ashland City; sisters Margie Nosbusch,Hopkinsville, Patsy Plunkett, Clarksville; Joy Blankenship, Clarksville; Sue Parker Clarkville; Brooksie Johnson, Chattanooga and serveral nieces and nephews. His grandchildren are Heather N. Hollis and Charles I. Morrison, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Andy Hollis, Mike Nosbusch, Tim Nosbusch, Kevin Plunkett, Donnie Parker, Jerry Harris, Terry Harris and Dan Williams.
