Msgt Charles Adkison, Air Force (Ret)

MSGT Charles Roy Adkison, AIR FORCE (Ret), age 77 of Clarksville, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare. He was born on November 29, 1942 in Covington, KY to Charles and Alma Dewald Adkison. He retired from the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam. He enjoyed playing cards, trying new places to eat, movies, and music. Charles was also a fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Kentucky Wildcat basketball, and the Tennessee Titans.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Gary Adkison. He is survived by his wife Nancy Adkison; children, Meri (Jerry) Lee, Larry (Cameron) Adkison, and Sheri Jensen Zajac; sisters, Mary Schmidt and JoAnne Winstel; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

In compliance with current health and safety directives, a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
