Msg Richard Krebs, Army (Ret)

A Celebration of Life for MSG Richard Krebs, ARMY (Ret), age 85, of Clarksville, TN, will be Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Pastor Larry Peters will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the time of service.

Richard was born on May 11, 1937 in Shamokin, PA to Clarence and Florence Krebs. He retired from the United States Army, was a respiratory therapist at St. Thomas and Baptist Hospital, and a professor at TSU. He loved spending time with his family and being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Richard enjoyed riding on his tractor, hunting, fishing, woodworking, and collecting model trains.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Renate Krebs and son-in-law, Daniel Plummer. He is survived by his daughters: Christine (Patrick) Pelland, Cornelia Plummer, Carola Krebs, and Catherine (Michael) Perry; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
