Msg Michael Hermey, Sr. (Ret)

A Celebration of Life service for MSG Michael Robert Hermey, Sr., ARMY (Ret), 74 of Clarksville, will be Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until the time of service. Michael passed away on June 4, 2021. He was born on December 25, 1946 to Walter Sr. and Agnes Harmon Hermey in Washington, D.C.

Michael was a Vietnam veteran and retired from the United States Army after serving his country for 20 years. He was a member of VFW Post 11160. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, building military models, and puzzles.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Bonnie Hermey; and brothers, Dennis and Woody Hermey. Michael is survived by his sons, Michael (Jennifer) Hermey, Jr. and Steven Hermey; grandchildren: Justin, Jonothan, Sydney, and Joshua; and siblings: Kevin, Aaron, Betsy, and Martha.
