Msg Jessie Rowan, Army (Ret)

Funeral service for MSG Jessie Artlee Rowan, ARMY (Ret) , age 76 of Clarksville, will be Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Jessie  passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at his residence. He was born on October 31, 1942 in Booneville, MS to Milford and Luree Rowan.

MSG Rowan retired from the United States Army having served his country for 27 years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Gary Frierson and brother James Rowan. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Caroline Rowan, son James C. Rowan, daughters; Tomika Fort and Iris Holmes, brothers; Thomas, Larry, Leonard, and Ronald, sister Mary Ann, and 4 grandchildren.
