Msg Charles Campbell, Army (Ret)

A Celebration of Life service for MSG Charles William Campbell, ARMY (Ret), age 77 of Dover, will be Monday, January 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and again on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Charles passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare. He was born on July 29, 1943 in Lauderdale, TN to William and Lena Lewis Campbell. Charles retired from the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He was a former member of the Tennessee Retired Enlisted Association. Charles enjoyed working and socializing at the Sportsman's Lodge in his younger years and later helped his wife run Campbell's Kitchen for many years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons, William Gregg Campbell and Stacy Lee Campbell. He is survived by his wife, Imsun Campbell; children: William Charles Campbell, Kerry Allen Campbell, Angel Marie Tolley, Christina Campbell, Sylvia Rosales, and Connie Roberts; sisters, Sue Drumwright and Peggy Wilson; and many grandchildren.
