MSG Gale David Simon, Army (Ret)

 A Celebration of Life service for MSG Gale David Simon, ARMY (Ret), will be Monday, November 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Sykes Funeral Home where full military honors will be rendered. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service. 

Gale was born on December 11, 1937, in Grangeville, ID, to Alva and Thelma Simon. He passed away on October 26, 2024. Gale retired from the United States Army after 21 years. During his career he rose to the rank of Master Sergeant, was a Vietnam veteran, and was awarded a Bronze Star Medal. Gale loved spending time with his family, drag racing, and traveling.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 5 siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of over 65 years, Irma Simon; his daughter, Ellen Bruder and her husband, Gary; granddaughter, Amy Walton and her husband, Mark; and grandchildren, Jaxon and Isabella Walton.
