Funeral service for Moninda "Nin" Biggers, age 89 of Clarksville, will be, Thursday May 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Smiths Grove Cemetery in Smiths Grove, KY at 2:30 PM. The family will receive friends on, Wednesday May 18, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home, and Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Nin passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Signature Health Care of Clarksville. She was born on August 17, 1926 in Smith Grove, KY to Coleman and Alta Nunnelley. She was a member of the Montgomery County Regional Planning Commission, Historic Society of the Historic Zoning Commissions, the Cumberland River District Commission, and the Montgomery County Millennium Commission. She was a member of Madison Street United Methodist Church, and the United Methodist Women Church Circle. Nin,a DAR member was also a retired teacher of East Montgomery Elementary School. She is a former recipient of the City of Clarksville Citizen of the Year Award. She is survived by her children; Moninda (Merritt) Eslick, Grant (Mary) Biggers, and Cynthia Biggers, grandchildren; Kevin Biggers, Brandon and Lindsay Eslick, step-grandchildren; Thomas and Jessica Durham, Meredith Bronzda; great-grandchildren; Rily and Chase Biggers, Knox and Wade Durham, Claire Charlotte and Collie Brozda.
