Mildred Volkers

A memorial service for Mildred Katherine Volkers, age 91, of Clarksville, TN, will be Monday, May 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

Mildred was born on January 19, 1932 in Columbus, GA, to John and Mathe Hill. She passed away on May 6, 2023. Mildred was a nurse for over 50 years and cared for others her entire life. She enjoyed going to church and reading. Mildred was a resident of Brookdale where she and her family appreciated the care she received from the wonderful staff.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her children, Grady Volkers and Barbara Volkers. Mildred is survived by her grandchildren: Michell (Chris) Lochner, Jason Volkers, and Jessica Volkers; 5 great grandchildren, and a great-great granddaughter, Savannah Bridges.
