Mildred Ann Baggett Sanders, 84, Dover, died Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at her home. The funeral will be held at 12:00 noon Friday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Lone Oak Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Sanders was born March 18, 1927 to the late Barney and Ruby Parchman Baggett. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Sanders. She was a waitress and member of Oakwood Baptist Church. Mrs. Sanders is survived by her five children, Sheila Shearer and husband Bruce of Alpena, MI; Sarah Hornick, Dover, TN; Deborah Sanders Henderson, Lincoln Park, MI; Paul Edward Sanders, Nashville, TN and Larry J. Sanders and wife Candy of Dover, TN. Pallbearers will be Bruce Kellett, Larry Sanders, Frank Kellett, John Kellett, Harold Kellett and Tony Shearer. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Smith, John Padgett, Ryan Henderson and Bruce Shearer. She has twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. www.sykesfuneralhome.com
