Michael Stephens

Michael Christopher Stephens, age 21 of Huntsville, AL, formerly of Clarksville, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021. He was born on April 15, 1999 in Cambridge, MA to Lindsey Earl and Susan Salerno Stephens.

Michael had a love for building things from a young age. This later led to him pursuing a Mechanical Engineering Degree at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He was a creative individual that enjoyed art and was a skilled guitarist. Michael was a basketball and football fan and loved keeping in touch with friends through online messaging and gaming. His favorite times were sharing a meal of filet mignon with boxed mac and cheese with family and friends, cheering on the Patriots and Celtics, regaling everyone around with a funny story, and listening to, playing and watching 70’s-80’s music. Michael was known for kindness and faithful friendship and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Michael is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sam and Laura Salerno; paternal grandparents, George and Evelyn Stephens; and uncle, Sam Salerno. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Matthew Stephens; uncles: George Stephens, Richard (Betsy) Salerno, and Charles (Diane) Salerno; and aunts: Barbara Salerno and Rosemary Salerno.
