Michael Dwyn Moffitt - 1974 Michael Dwyn Moffitt, 36, Clarksville, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at his home. The funeral will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at New Providence Church of Christ with Pastor Tom Lynch officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the church. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Michael was born March 3, 1974 in Cleveland OH, the son of Richard Moffitt and Karen Burney Greer. He is a member of First Assemby of God Church. In addition to his parents he is survived by his step-mother Pauline Moffitt of Hendersonville, and his step-father Billy Greer of Clarksville. Other survivors include his maternal grandmother Kathryn Sweatt of Lexington, TN; his paternal grandmother Ramell Moffitt of Lexington, TN, sisters Keisha Moffitt and Vanessa Pater of Lexington,his brothers Jeremy Moffitt and Kevin Wolverton both of Hendersonville, and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. We would like to send a special thank you to the Staff of Sunrise Community, Gateway Medical Center, Premier Medical Group, Dr. Silkowski and Asera Care Hospice.
