Michael Dale Grant

A Celebration of Life service for Michael "Mike" Dale Grant, age 62, of Clarksville, TN, will be Monday, April 21, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Sykes Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Madewell officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until the time of service.

Mike was born on October 15, 1962 in Clarksville, TN to Dale and Sarah Jane Grant. He passed away on April 10, 2025. Over the course of his life he attained a great deal of accomplishments with experience across many fields including restaurant management and catering, home appraisals, food equipment maintenance, and most recently real estate. In his early adult years he was very active in the Clarksville Jaycees.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and his passionate interests included cooking, genealogy, and music. Every holiday and family celebration he would pour himself into preparing the meal with love in his heart and a smile on his face. He was fascinated by local history and spent much time researching the Grant family tree, tracing it all the way back to Scottish origins. He was always ready with a witty quip, pun, or song to fit the moment. Dogs always held a special place in his heart, and his recent puppy was a joyful addition to his day. Mike's life was a beautiful example of love and care in service to others.

He is survived in death by his daughters Macie and Jesse; parents Dale and Sarah Jane Grant; sister Debbie (Wade) Winters; brother Darrell (Renee) Grant; niece, Melissa Werner; nephews Evan Winters, Jeremiah Grant, and Dylan Grant; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.
