Michael Baskins

A celebration of life service for Michael Glenn Baskins, age 67 of Cumberland City, will be Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home and on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 2:00pm.
Mike passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Alive Hospice. He was born on April 20, 1950 in Clarksville, TN to Allen and Gertrude Baskins. Mike was an alumni of Austin Peay State University. After obtaining his Master's Degree, he spent 38 years in the Stewart County Education System.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Jerry and Joanne.
He is survived by his daughters; Sarah Glenn (Chance) Hodges and Julia Baskins, siblings; Jimmy, Norma, Oliver and Ray, grandchildren; Alexis, Elizabeth, Jacob, and Mary Kate.
