Mayme Ruth Dickinson Wilson, age 71 of Cunningham passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center. Sykes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Trenton Baptist Church in Trenton, KY with Rev. Joel Nulty officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Sykes Funeral Home and 9:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Trenton Baptist in Trenton, KY. Burial will follow in Trenton Edgewood Cemetery.
She was born June 26, 1943 in Hopkinsville, KY to the late Mimms H. and Hazel Mae Gray Dickinson. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Dickinson.
She was a teacher at Montgomery Central Elementary for34 years and a member of Louise UMC.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bruce E. Wilson; son Russell Hagan (Mary Courtney) Wilson; sister, JoAnn Dickinson (Billy Steve) Holder; grandchildren, Kathryn Taylor and Hagan Thomas Wilson.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
