Mattie Louise Wallace Mohon, age 89 of Clarksville passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 at her residence. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Kail officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 am until the hour of the service at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Burial will be in Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
She was born in Montgomery County on May 5, 1925 to the late Thomas W. and Mary F. Wallace. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dahl Mohon; sisters, Pearl P. Bogard, Margaret B. Knowles and brother, J.D. Wallace.
She was a Registered Nurse at Memorial Hospital and a member of Crossland Avenue Baptist Church.
She is survived by sisters, Virginia Woolard, Marie Evans, Bernice Waynick, Lavergne Weakley, Helen Forito; neice, Trudy Wright; great-neices, Ginny Corbett, Tiffany Kail, great-nephews, Dylan Neumann and great-nieces, Briana and Makayla Wright.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
