Mary Jo Pruitt, 86, Clarksville, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at Springfield, MO. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Holland officiating. She was a member of Full Gospel Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at Redtop. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and from 12:00 noon until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Pruitt was born July 3, 1923 in Stewart County, daughter of the late James Clayton and Bessie Mullins Keatts. She was preceded in death by husband Bertram Horace Green and Julian Pruitt. Siblings James Allen Keatts, Lexie Summers and Clarence Elliott Keatts. Prior to retirement from Civil Service, she was proud to be a "Rosie The Riveter" during WWII. She is survived by five children, Julian Hovey Pruitt, Preston Lee Pruitt, Rebecca Welborn, Kathryn Wallis, and Cynthia Smith.
