Mary Frances Ruffner Hansell, age 78 of Clarksville, TN, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Fieldstone Place Assisted Living. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Maranatha Baptist Church in Oak Grove, KY with Rev. Ricky Clark officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the church on Sunday. Burial will follow in the Shenandoah Memorial Park, Winchester, VA, Wednesday, July 9, 2014, 11:00 a.m.
She was born January 12, 1936 in Rippon, WV to the late Robert Ruffner, Sr. and Marion Locke Ruffner. Mary was the widow of Benjamin Hansell and will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Allen Ruffner, and twin sister, Susie Ruffner. She was a homemaker and a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.
She is survived by son, Benjamin (Joan) Hansell, Jr.; daughters, Teresa (Scott) Creighton, Susan (Tim) Vermaas, Maria (Robert) Dunn, Kellie Hansell, Kimberly Hansell; grandchildren, Johnathan Creighton, Jeremiah Creighton, Ashley Dunn, Megan Dunn, Cherokee Dunn, Bobby Dunn, Rachel Vermaas; great-grandchildren, Taven Dunn, Mary Dunn and Jr. Austin.
Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
