Mary Ferrell

Mary Frances Whitlow Ferrell, 59, Clarksville, died Thursday, August 20, 2009, at her home.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Sanders officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. today and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ferrell was born in Montgomery County, daughter of the late Lewis and Nina Black Whitlow on September 19, 1949. She was preceded in death by a brother Terry Whitlow. She retired from Jostens and was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Jerry L. Ferrell, and son Jason Ferrell, of Clarksville; daughter Nina Ferrell, of Memphis. Other survivors include sisters Laura N. Sturgill and Linda (Michael) York of Clarksville; and brother Paul (Jackie) Whitlow of Clarksville.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Nolen, Donny Black, Ronnie Black, Joe Black, Larry McGavic, William Whitehead, Bruce Simmons, Ronal Deffendoll, Chuck Heflin and Ed Ferrell. Honorary pallbearer will be Charles Coke.
