Mary Emberton

A Celebration of Life service for Mary Alice Emberton, age 65 of Clarksville, will be Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Mary passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare. She was born on September 14, 1954 in Paris, Illinois to Fenton and Betty Bottom. She was a wonderful mother and Nana who loved being with family and watching Cubs baseball.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Anne Stites. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, John Emberton; children: Amber Dawn Emberton, Jason Andrew (Mary Ann) Emberton, and Robert Scott (Angela) Emberton; siblings: William (Joyce Bishop) Bottom, Karen (Terry) McCall, Debra (Jay) Trott, Ruth (John Hutchings)Bottom, and David Bottom; grandchildren: McKenzie, Cole, Allison, Araya, Nicholas, Wrigley, and Ivy.
